What was Pulis thinking: 63% of Middlesbrough fans polled wish summer transfer never happened
Middlesbrough are still within a shout of Premier League promotion 15 games into the season.
Tony Pulis’s side currently sit two points adrift of Championship leaders Sheffield United.
Even though their main objective is still intact, the performances on the pitch have not been hugely impressive.
The team have drawn their last two fixtures, and have only scored six goals in their last six outings.
During the summer window Pulis had to dip into the transfer market, and for a fee in the region of £5m Boro recruited Paddy McNair from Sunderland.
The Northern Ireland international, who came through the ranks at Manchester United, has made 10 appearances in all competitions.
However, McNair has struggled to hold down a regular spot as he is yet to complete a full 90 minutes for the Championship team.
Also, the 23-year-old has been used as a defensive midfielder and on the right a handful of times.
McNair is yet to have a significant impact, which led us to ask you whether Boro were wrong to sign him.
Judging from the results, most supporters wish that he had never come to the Riverside Stadium.
