'Closest player to Coutinho right now' ... These Liverpool fans debate move for seven-assist king
Liverpool’s attacking stars have taken time to click this season, but manager Jurgen Klopp will not be too concerned given that the club remain unbeaten in the Premier League.
Against Champions League opponents Red Star Belgrade and then on Saturday for the visit of Cardiff City, the Merseyside outfit showed glimpses of the flair that earned them many plaudits last season.
One thing that is different in the 2018-19 campaign is the strength and depth that the squad now has.
On Twitter, @empireofthekop suggested that the club should try to re-sign Suso from AC Milan in order to bolster their attacking options even further.
The Spaniard spent five years at Anfield but after failing to earn regular game time, he decided to leave for the San Siro in 2015.
Suso has become a key member of the Serie A side, and this season he has scored three goals and created seven assists in 11 outings in all competitions.
On Sunday, the 24-year-old secured a goal and assist in Milan’s 3-2 victory over Sampdoria, which sparked a discussion among Liverpool fans on Twitter.
Some believe that he would fill the hole left behind by Philippe Coutinho, while others are not interested in a potential return.
Suso would fit nicely in our squad, I think. Can play on the right or as a 10. We don’t need him, but he’d provide great depth and another option. He’s getting better and better. Wonder if he’d ever want to come back and prove it. https://t.co/vROUIVGhYB

Would rather give Wilson a chance.

Should never have sold him.

Always had a good feeling about him, shame we let him go. Don’t need him though, I’m excited to see Wilson in this team next season!

Not enough pace
— PAL (@pal_ja) October 28, 2018
Still too slow , our game is fast and he doesn’t fit.
Gattuso had him for sale but no takers ?! Weird … he had too many slow technical midfielders, and suso wasn’t the best of the three .. or going to be …Wouldn’t make the u-23’s

I reckon he’d love to come back but can’t see us making a bid any time soon

We could use him tbh. He could fill that creativity role that Coutinho left to be filled

Not quick enough
He’s a younger lallana who’s talented on the ball but too slow (pace and instinct) for a klopp team
He will play at a better level than the current Milan team,he just wouldn’t do here in this team

He’s the closest player to couthino, right now
