Mauricio Pochettino & Tottenham Alarm bells keep ringing around Tottenham concerning the ongoing future of Mauricio Pochettino. Pochettino has made a couple of remarks this week which have revealed he’s frustrated at Spurs. Following the news that Leeds United right-back Luke Ayling has been ruled out for two months because of injury, manager Marcelo Bielsa should give fringe loanee Lewis Baker a chance to shine in that position. According to Football Oranje , Newcastle United are preparing to rival Arsenal for the signature of Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico during the January transfer window. Tagliafico – a 11-time Argentina international – joined Ajax from Independiente in January, and has made 31 appearances for the Dutch club in all competitions. The 26-year-old’s form has led to suggestions that Arsenal want to sign him, as recently reported by Calciomercato . It is understood that Newcastle wanted to sign the defender during the summer, but were unable to agree terms with Ajax. The Magpies are again being linked with a move for the full-back, although it would be fair to say that the club’s supporters are just not buying the transfer report.
