Oliver Burke signed for West Bromwich Albion last summer with plenty of promise surrounding him. The young winger cost in the region of £15m when the club bought him from RB Leipzig. Unfortunately, though, the 21-year-old has struggled to break into the first team on a regular basis. After the Baggies suffered relegation to the Championship it was thought that Burke would get more opportunities to shine. However, so far this season the winger has played just 14 minutes of league action and had to settle for two EFL Cup matches. Burke was in Darren Moore’s squad for the first seven Championship fixtures, but since then has spent the majority of his time representing the Under-21s. Last weekend, the youngster, who in total this season has scored four goals, returned to the bench but did not make an appearance during the 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers.
