"We only win when we are together" - Hector Bellerin delivers message of unity on Instagram
Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has taken to social media after yesterday’s disappointing result against Crystal Palace in an attempt to unite fans and players.
It’s all falling apart at Arsenal. A poor result against Sheffield United on Monday was followed up yesterday with an equally depressing performance against Crystal Palace, who crawled back a two-goal deficit to draw at the Emirates.

To make matters worse, Granit Xhaka, Unai Emery’s questionable captain elect, was booed off the pitch and responded in the least advisable way possible.
Not a great afternoon for Granit Xhaka…
The Arsenal captain was jeered by his own fans as he was substituted, before reportedly swearing at the crowd and rejecting a handshake from Unai Emery! 😳

The Swiss international was substituted on the hour mark, but instead of running off, which is at the very least a symbolic necessity, he slumped off like a teenager emerging from his room for the first time in 48 hours. Xhaka then proceeded to remove the captain’s armband and launch it at Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang before goading the home support who were becoming increasingly restless.
If there’s one thing Arsenal need at the moment, it’s togetherness, and while captain Xhaka failed in his duty to rally the club, fan favourite Bellerin was at hand to complete the job for him…
You’d be forgiven for believing that the self-confessed Tottenham-hating Arsenal fanatic, who has snubbed interest from Barcelona and Manchester City to sign a new contract at the Emirates, would be a better choice for captain than his whiny counterpart.
