"Could be a blessing in disguise" - Some Leeds fans react as Adam Pope and Phil Hay give updates
Leeds United fans on Twitter have been rejoicing after both Phil Hay and Adam Pope reported that Patrick Bamford has an injury ahead of this weekend’s game against QPR.
The striker is currently suffering with an ankle problem, and fans seem quite happy about the fact that he won’t be playing this weekend.

As much as we don’t like to hear that a player is injured, you can understand why some fans are happy to hear that he’s not going to be lining up at Elland Road against QPR due to his ongoing goal drought.
The striker hasn’t found the back of the net in any of his last nine league appearances.
One would think that Bamford’s injury will hand an opportunity to Eddie Nketiah, but it remains to be seen how Marcelo Bielsa will lineup without the former Middlesbrough man this weekend.
Here’s what the Elland Road faithful have had to say on Twitter…
