"Needs to start", "Fitter, stronger, hungrier" - Many Villa fans deliver verdicts on 6 ft 3 man

A product of the Aston Villa academy, Keinan Davis has struggled to kick on since his breakthrough campaign at Villa Park back in the 2017/2018 season.

In that year, the striker made 33 appearances across all competitions, but last season, Davis’ game-time became far more limited, making just the seven senior outings.

And now, the 6 foot 3 man has only had two starts in the current campaign, with both of them coming in the EFL Cup in the clashes against Crewe and Brighton.

But after seeing his latest substitute appearance in the Premier League against Manchester City on Saturday afternoon, Villa fans have been left suitably impressed.

As per Sofascore, in just 19 minutes of action, Davis fired off two shots and earned a free-kick, and finished the game with a higher match rating than summer signing Wesley.

Taking to Twitter after the match, Villa supporters hailed their academy product, with one fan in particular insisting he is “better than Wesley by a country mile”.
