Paulo Dybala’s Man United wage demands, Juventus ‘agree’ Romelu Lukaku terms & Harry Maguire is angry

Paulo Dybala’s Man United wage demands

Here’s the positive news for Man United.

Paulo Dybala’s team are discussing the financial details of a proposed move to Old Trafford, which suggests Dybala is open to the switch from Juventus to United

But are Man United willing to satisfy the Argentine’s requests?

On Thursday, Onda Cero claimed Dybala was asking for 10 million euros a season in wages at the Theatre of Dreams.

In Thursday’s edition of the Times, reporter Paul Joyce claims Dybala actually wants “a post-tax salary of about £10 million a year to move to Manchester United”.

Broken down, that salary equates to £350,000 a week, which would make Dybala one of the highest paid players in the Premier League.

Could Dybala join Inter Milan?

According to Corriere dello Sport on Thursday, that’s a possibility.

In a fresh twist in the transfer saga, CdS indicate that Inter could now sign Dybala.

Previously, Inter had been trying to land Romelu Lukaku. However, as reported in the Times, Inter have failed to meet Lukaku’s asking price:

Lukaku, 26, had looked certain to join Inter Milan, but the Italian club’s bid of £54 million fell way below United’s valuation.

The Nerazzurri are open to swapping Mauro Icardi for Dybala, report Corriere dello Sport.

CdS also note that Inter’s Beppe Marotta was the man who brought Dybala to Juve from Palermo.

Could Marotta now convince Dybala to switch to the San Siro?

Juventus ‘agree’ Romelu Lukaku terms

Turning to another Italian daily, Tuttosport, they today believe that Juventus have agreed terms to sign Romelu Lukaku.

Tuttosport have the three following headlines on their front page:

– Lukaku: Juve, I’m running towards you!

– Agreement reached between the Bianconeri and the Belgian hitman, who will earn €8.5m per season.

– There is also a deal with Man United to exchange with Dybala, who is expected in Turin today to meet Sarri.

Harry Maguire is angry with Leicester City

Returning to the Times, will Harry Maguire manage to leave Leicester City to join Man United?

Throughout the summer, fans have been told that Maguire isn’t set to force a move from the King Power Stadium.

Indeed, in today’s Times, reporter Paul Joyce confirms:

The 26-year-old is not planning to go on strike and is available for selection for the club’s final pre-season friendly at home to Atalanta tomorrow.

And yet, it’s also clear that Maguire is starting to lose patience with the Foxes.

The Times note that “Maguire has pleaded with Brendan Rodgers” to allow him to join Man United.

Moreover, the centre-half is “deeply unhappy with the way that he has been treated by the club”.
