Man City’s big snow risk before Arsenal

The Sun have painted Man City out as taking a big gamble, as it’s reported that the Sky Blues will only travel to London for the Arsenal game on Thursday.

Considering the snow forecasts, what happens if the Man City trip is held up by the weather? The Sun outline how Arsenal could win the match without a ball being kicked:

Manchester City are risking putting their Premier League clash with Arsenal in jeopardy by sticking to their original travel plans despite the threat of Storm Emma.

Despite predictions of travel chaos in and around the south-east, City are still only planning to travel down by train on Thursday morning just hours before the game.

Premier League rules state that if any team is at fault for failing to fulfil a fixture, then their opponents would be awarded a 3-0 victory.

While that’s obviously the worst case scenario, one suspects it’s hughly unlikely that Man City will fail to show up for the Arsenal game.

Supporters, however, may have a much tougher time getting the Emirates Stadium due to predicted travel chaos.
