Loads of Rangers fans have been giving their verdict on Thursday’s Europa League clash against Villarreal, and they are once again stunned by the form of Allan McGregor.

You’d be hard pushed to find a player the fans at Ibrox love more than McGregor, and the veteran goalkeeper showed exactly why on Thursday night.

The Gers had a great chance to go top of their Europa League group after Rapid Wien nicked an incredible last-gasp win in Moscow, but Steven Gerrard’s side got off to an awful start as Daniel Candeias was sent off just before half time.

McGregor helped his side stay well in the hunt for a spot in the next round though, as the 36 year-old made several key saves in the 0-0 draw.

Karl Toko Ekambi had the best chance of the game after he latched onto a loose pass from Jon Flanagan, but McGregor was quick off his line to thwart the 26 year-old.
