"Deluded Klopp", "Insufferable" - Loads of Liverpool fans call for one major change vs Everton

Liverpool fans have been looking for silver linings in their defeat to PSG, and Naby Keita’s cameo has got fans calling for a team change.

Liverpool were completely and utterly outplayed in the first half of Wednesday’s Champions League defeat, particularly in the midfield.

PSG just romped through towards the Reds’ defence at every opportunity, and fans were fuming at the likes of Jordan Henderson and James Milner.

Keita replaced Georginio Wijnaldum with 25 minutes to go, and immediately brought a bit more attacking impetus to the midfield.

The 23-year-old was regarded as one of the best young midfield prospects in Europe when he moved to Anfield this summer, but a slow start and a hamstring injury has halted his progress.

He completed more dribbles and drew more fouls than the starting midfield trio combined on Wednesday, and fans are hoping to see this forward-thinking play in the starting line-up.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have the perfect chance to bounce back when they host Everton on Sunday, and judging from the Twitter reactions down below Keita is the fans’ choice to start in midfield…

Biggest positive last night was Keita’s cameo. Nothing special by any means but you could see exactly what he will bring to the team that others can’t.
