Pellegrini must drop Obiang and reshuffle his West Ham midfield vs Newcastle - agree?

West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini may think that a shake-up is in order following last weekend’s 4-0 defeat to Manchester City.

It was always unlikely that the East London outfit would get a result against Pep Guardiola’s men, but Pellegrini will be disappointed that his team did not put in a better account of themselves.

Pedro Obiang has been struggling to maintain his decent form in the middle of the park, which could result in him being axed from the line-up.

West Ham have only picked up three wins in 13 games, but they may feel they have a realistic chance of overcoming Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Saturday even if the Magpies have tasted success in three top flight matches on the trot.

Club captain Mark Noble has featured in eight Premier League matches this season and has not played since the end of October when he was sent off against Leicester City.

With the Hammers’ midfield needing some care and attention, is Noble the best fit to take on Newcastle?
