'One hell of a signing', 'praise Bielsa' - These Leeds fans love latest addition

Leeds United recently announced the signing of Manchester City winger Jack Harrison on a season-long loan and fans of the Whites on Twitter have been starting to get excited for the new season after a frustrating transfer window of missing out on targets.

Harrison was born in Stoke-on-Trent but moved to the US at age 14 and started his career in the MLS. He was originally picked by Chicago Fire in the draft system but was almost immediately traded to New York City FC.

During his two seasons in the MLS, the 21-year-old netted 14 goals and provided 10 assists, doing enough to convince New York’s sister side Manchester City to sign him in January this year before immediately loaning him out to Middlesbrough.

The England U21 international appeared in just four games under Pulis at Boro during the second half of last season, but Leeds fans clearly saw enough to be excited about his signing.

Harrison becomes new Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa’s fourth signing of the summer, alongside left-back Barry Douglas from Wolves and fellow loanees Lewis Baker and Jamal Blackman, both from Chelsea.
