'Mercenary player' - These Leeds fans react to major update on future of 5ft 11in ace

According to Sky Sports News, Matej Vydra’s expected move to Leeds United has broken down, with the Whites failing to agree personal terms with the Derby County forward.

Vydra has been strongly linked with a move to Elland Road over the last couple of weeks, and it is understood that Marcelo Bielsa’s side were prepared to pay £11m for his services.

Vydra’s wage demands have proved to be problematic, however, and it now seems that the move has broken down just days before the new Championship season.

It leaves Leeds in a difficult position when considering that they need a new centre-forward before the transfer window slams shut.

However, it would be fair to say that the Leeds fans are not too bothered about the latest reports surrounding the 5ft 11in prolific Championship goalscorer.
