Chelsea star sends message on Twitter as incredible trophy record continues
N’Golo Kante continued his ridiculous record of winning a trophy every season he has been in England as Chelsea won the Europa League on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old is, without doubt, one of the most liked footballers on the planet. He is humble, has a wonderful smile and is a superb grafter on the pitch, hunting down his opponent with exemplary tenacity.
Since he moved to Leicester in 2015 for a ridiculously cheap £5.6m, the Frenchman has won two Premier League titles, an FA Cup, the Europa League and the World Cup.
In a stellar run of success for Kante, he has managed to win at least one trophy in each of the last four seasons, a run which included back-to-back Premier League titles with two different clubs.
His latest post on Twitter will delight Chelsea fans.
We did it! A new season with @ChelseaFC and a new trophy for our great fans. Thanks to all for the support.#cfc ?? pic.twitter.com/YP17Bgln7O

This post is sure to endear him to Blues fans even more as he praises the fans who made the ridiculous journey to Baku.
Kante has had to adapt to a new role this season, playing more as a box-to-box midfielder rather than a defensive midfielder and he has got on with his task with minimal complaint.
This willingness to adapt has to be admired, and a lot of players could learn something from the former Leicester City man. He is a model professional on and off the pitch, and this is why he is so loved by all fans, not just Chelsea supporters.
