Manchester United have officially announced Aaron Wan-Bissaka as their latest summer signing, a major coup for the side who watched Ashley Young play right-back 26 times last term.

The Red Devils have made him the second addition to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad as they prepare to climb the English Premier League table next season.

The right-back will join on a five-year deal, with the option of a sixth, with reports suggesting a fee of £45m has been paid to Crystal Palace for his signature and that the player will earn as much as £80,000-a-week.

Making 35 Premier League appearances last season, the 21-year-old is said by Solskjaer to be “one of the best upcoming defenders” in the division.

Despite his age, it appears he’ll be getting plenty of opportunities in the first-team next season, with the Man United boss building a young, exciting team that can grow and develop together.
