"In Brands we trust" - Many Everton fans react to interest in "Sandro mk 2"

Loads of Everton fans have been weighing in on the links to Borja Iglesias, who is apparently the subject of long-term interest from the Toffees.

According to Estadio Deportivo, Everton have been eyeing a move for the Spanish striker since January.

The report states that the 26 year-old is still on holiday but his future will be decided when he returns next week, and any deal for him would have to reach at least €28m (£25m).

It also states that he is good friends with former teammate Roberto, who just joined West Ham, and would be interested in following him to the Premier League.

Plenty of Everton fans have been weighing in on the links, and while some are impressed by his tally of 17 La Liga goals last season and are happy to trust Marcel Brands, most simply see him as another Sandro Ramirez.

Sandro joined in 2017 after an impressive season in Spain, only to flop horrendously at Goodison.
