Pellegrini can add creative spark with January move for 30-year-old England international
West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini should consider making a move for Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana in the January transfer window.
What’s the situation?
The Hammers have had a good start to life under Manuel Pellegrini, but there is no doubt that they are slightly short on creative midfield players with Jack Wilshere and Manuel Lanzini both out injured.
A midfielder then could be the only signing that the Chilean boss needs to make in January, something that will please the board given that .. was spent to sign .. players during the summer window.
With the Hammers spending big though they will be able to attract bigger and better players than ever before, and targeting Lallana in January is certainly not out of the question.
Creative element
Liverpool are flying at the moment and top the table having been unbeaten in the first half of the season.
However, their success has meant that Lallana’s game time has been limited since his return from injury, and the 30-year-old has had to settle for a bit-part role so far.
The former Southampton man should look to force a move away then, especially if he still has intentions of breaking back into Gareth Southgate’s England setup. West Ham could certainly use an injection of creativity in the middle of the park and Lallana has that quality in abundance.
Former Wigan & Fulham man, Jimmy Bullard recently showed that he’s still got it! Check out the video below...
