'Why is he still here?' - These Wednesday fans want 24-year-old sold

Sheffield Wednesday fans on Twitter were fuming with defender Morgan Fox after his disastrous performance in the 2-0 Carabao Cup loss to Wolves on Tuesday evening.

Wolves striker Leo Bonatini broke the deadlock early on into the second half but the Owls continued to test keeper John Ruddy for the next half hour, with Steven Fletcher and Fernando Forestieri both forcing the Premier League side’s second choice keeper into saves.

After 85 minutes though, Fox tripped Helder Costa in the box to give away a penalty, which the Portuguese forward scored himself to put the game beyond the Owls.

Wednesday boss Jos Luhukay changed his entire starting XI after the weekend’s 2-1 win over Ipswich, handing Fox his second start of the season in the process.

The 24-year-old former Wales U21 international joined the Owls in January 2017 from Charlton, but many fans will now be hoping he is benched for the trip to Reading on Saturday. Check out some of the best tweets in reaction to his performance below.
