Arsenal fans target Unai Emery after Mesut Ozil’s opener vs Bournemouth

Arsenal vs Bournemouth

Arsenal hosted Bournemouth on Wednesday in one of six Premier League games.

The Gunners began the day 5th in the table but they could move up 4th with a win over Bournemouth.

Arsenal had won four of their previous five league games before facing the Cherries.

Bournemouth, on the other hand, headed into the game 12th in the league and without a win in their last three outings.

Ozil opens the scoring

Bournemouth’s poor form would continue vs Arsenal as Mesut Ozil put Unai Emery’s side 1-0 up in the 4th minute.

After Ozil opened the scoring vs Bournemouth with a beautiful finish, Arsenal fans have begun to question Emery on Twitter.

Emery and Ozil’s relationship appears to have been strained in recent months.

Ozil has featured in just two of Arsenal’s last eight league games before Wednesday.

Fans take aim at Emery

As a result, Emery is taking a fair bit of stick on Twitter for not starting Ozil more often.
