Pellegrini can add creative spark with January move for 30-year-old England international

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini should consider making a move for Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana in the January transfer window. What’s the situation? The Hammers have had a good start to life under Manuel Pellegrini, but there is no doubt that they are slightly short on creative midfield players with Jack Wilshere and Manuel Lanzini both out injured. A midfielder then could be the only signing that the Chilean boss needs to make in January, something that will please the board given that .. was spent to sign .. players during the summer window. With the Hammers spending big though they will be able to attract bigger and better players than ever before, and targeting Lallana in January is certainly not out of the question. Creative element Liverpool are flying at the moment and top the table having been unbeaten in the first half of the season. However, their success has meant that Lallana’s game time has been limited since his return from injury, and the 30-year-old has had

Bargain buy: 69% of polled Rangers fans want Gerrard to move for ex-Real Madrid trainee

The majority of the Rangers fans that answered our recent poll want Steven Gerrard to make a move for Malaga’s young Scottish starlet Jack Harper in January. According to  The Scottish Sun , Malaga recently rejected a £1m bid from La Liga high-flyers Getafe ahead of the winter transfer window. However, a slightly bigger bid would surely tempt the second division side to cash in on Harper, and it could still be considered a bargain for Rangers. Playmaker FC Exclusive: Jermaine Jenas reveals he would have snubbed Tottenham for Arsenal if they’d come knocking in 2005… Harper, a former Real Madrid trainee, was born in Malaga to Scottish parents. He has never played in Scottish domestic football, but he does have caps for the Scottish U17 and U19 national teams and was called up to the U21 side in March last year. With three goals this season and plenty of talent behind him, the 22-year-old forward would add some much-needed firepower to the Gers attack. Check out the full results of o

Ralph Hasenhuttl Insists Southampton Were Denied a Clear Penalty During Defeat to Manchester City

Ralph Hasenhuttl has claimed that the decision not to award Southampton a penalty during their 3-1 defeat to Manchester City proved to be the turning point in the match. With the game finely poised at 1-1, the Saints were denied a penalty after Oleksandr Zinchenko appeared to bring down James Ward-Prowse in the box. Shortly after, Ward-Prowse was involved at the other end, deflecting the ball into his own net to put City 2-1 ahead. Crystal Palace Boss Roy Hodgson Brands Chelsea 'Better Team' Following 1-0 Loss

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson admitted his side lost to the better team on Sunday afternoon, as a second half strike from N'Golo Kanté saw his team suffer a 1-0 defeat to Chelsea. The Eagles looked to thwart their opponents' attacking advances from the first whistle and headed into the break having effectively frustrated the visitors.  However, the Blues managed to break the deadlock early on in the second half and Hodgson's side were unable to produce a comeback, with their lacklustre... from All the latest breaking football news, transfer rumours, analysis, and match reports - 90min http://bit.ly/2BVG3mS via IFTTT

Jurgen Klopp Reacts Angrily to Mohamed Salah 'Dive' Accusations After Multiple Incidents

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has leapt to the defence of his talisman Mohamed Salah after the Egyptian was accused of diving to win a penalty against Arsenal on Saturday. With Liverpool already 3-1 up, Salah went down in the box after several nibbles from Arsenal defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos. Referee Michael Oliver pointed to the spot and Salah converted. Sokratis was not happy at half time as he berated Salah for what he appeared to believe to be a dive. Arsenal Midfielder Mohamed Elneny Urged to Leave With First Team Chances Limited

Mohamed Elneny's former coach has urged the Arsenal midfielder to leave the Emirates Stadium in January and seek better first team opportunities elsewhere. Since Unai Emery arrived in the summer and signed Lucas Torreira, Elneny has found himself an outcast, mostly limited to starts in the Europa League. His only Premier League appearance of the season came against Burnley earlier in December. Liverpool exposed Unai Emery’s major trust issue at Arsenal

Villa could spent £15m-£20m on in-form ace and still be getting a bargain deal - agree?

Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham has been in fine goalscoring form for Aston Villa since he signed for the club on deadline day in the summer, and here at Football FanCast we want to know just how much Villa fans would be willing to pay in order to secure his services on a permanent basis. Having scored in the 1-1 draw with Preston on Saturday, Abraham took his tally for the season to a hugely impressive 14 goals in just 19 Championship appearances, and it would be massive for Villa’s future if they were able to complete a permanent deal. Although he struggled in the Premier League with Swansea last season, the 21-year-old loves to score goals in the Championship – as proven by his time with Bristol City – and he still has plenty of time to improve. Given the state of the current market though and his form, the England U21 international could command a big fee. Chelsea could perhaps even get between £15m-£20m from Villa for Abraham. If the Birmingham-based club have the finances to aff

Darren Moore could revert back to favoured formation with loan move for in-demand Prem youngster

West Brom boss Darren Moore should make a January move for Liverpool youngster Rafa Camacho to bolster his options on the right hand side. What’s the situation? The Baggies left it late to equalise against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, but it would have felt like a victory especially after Jay Rodriguez was sent off just after the hour mark. The draw means though that Moore’s side missed a huge opportunity to close the gap even further to Leeds and Norwich in the automatic promotion spots as both teams lost the same day. If West Brom are to close this gap in the second half of the season though, Moore will need to add to his squad in January. One position that could certainly be improved upon is at right wing-back when Moore starts with a back three, as he seemed to prefer earlier in the campaign. Matt Phillips has been in excellent form so far this season, but the only other option is Manchester City loanee Tosin Adarabioyo, who is far more comfortable as a centre-back or at l

Emery must sign a replacement for 33-year-old if Arsenal are to progress any further

Arsenal’s thumping 5-1 defeat at the hands of Liverpool on Saturday exposed a number of flaws that Unai Emery must address, and the first thing the Spanish boss must do in the January transfer window is replace his club captain. On the chalkboard Laurent Koscielny has only recently returned to action after a long layoff with an Achilles injury, but his severe lack of pace was exposed by Liverpool’s dynamic attack. There is no doubt that in his prime, Koscielny was one of the Premier League’s top centre-backs. However, the most obvious example of his downfall came early in the second half at Anfield when Xherdan Shaqiri slipped a ball through that Mohamed Salah raced onto. The Egyptian burned past Koscielny to get to the ball and although his touch was poor and Bernd Leno saved, the Frenchman was left embarrassed. Replacement needed The 33-year-old can no longer be relied upon to play at the heart of Arsenal’s defence in such important games if Emery wants to bring the club back

Time for change: 55% of polled Spurs fans want experienced campaigner axed by Pochettino

According to the results of a recent Football FanCast poll , a slight majority of Tottenham fans want Paulo Gazzaniga to oust Hugo Lloris as the club’s number one goalkeeper. Lloris captained France to World Cup glory in Russia during the summer, but back in the Premier League things haven’t been quite as sweet for the 32-year-old. His high-profile mistakes have cost the club on a number of occasions and against Wolves on Saturday he could have done better with both Willy Boly’s equalising header and Raul Jimenez’s tame low finish. If Spurs are to challenge for silverware this year or in the future though, Mauricio Pochettino will need to make the right call. In our poll, 55 per cent of Tottenham fans said that Argentine stopper Gazzaniga should now be first choice. The 26-year-old has blossomed into a fantastic keeper since his surprise move from Pochettino’s former club Southampton in the summer of 2017, something he proved in the recent Carabao Cup win over North London rivals A
