Chelsea fans turn on Maurizio Sarri after Bournemouth embarrassment
Chelsea embarrassed by Bournemouth
Chelsea fans have started to turn on boss Maurizio Sarri following their 3-0 defeat at the hands of Bournemouth on Wednesday night.
Despite being considered strong title contenders early on in the season, the Blues haven’t exactly been in fine form over the past month or so.
Earlier in the month, Chelsea were unable to beat Southampton who have been struggling all season.
They then lost to Tottenham in the first leg of their Carabao Cup two-leg clash.
A hard fought win against Newcastle papered over the cracks but they were then beaten 2-0 by Arsenal.
They then scraped through to the next round of the Carabao Cup, beating Tottenham on penalties.
Though, their worst performance of the month and potentially the worst of the season came against Bournemouth on Wednesday.
The Cherries run riot over Sarri’s Blues
Going into the game, it was quite clear who the favourites were.
Chelsea travelled to the Vitality with the hope of putting some daylight between them and Arsenal.
Instead, they were torn apart by Eddie Howe’s side.
Josh King kicked off the scoring just after the half-time break, making it 1-0.
Bournemouth starlet David Brooks then added a second in the 63rd minute to compound Maurizio Sarri’s woes.
Though, it got even worse.
Josh King scored his second of the game in the 74th minute to all but secure all three points despite Chelsea’s possession.
Then, when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, Charlie Daniels made it 4-0 with almost the last kick of the game.

Sarri’s head on the chopping block?
Now, fans have turned on Maurizio Sarri after another poor performance.
Chelsea fans’ frustration started when Gonzalo Higuain was replaced by Olivier Giroud, a substitution that brought boo’s from the away fans.
Though, that wasn’t the only reason they were unhappy.
4-0 Bournemouth, time to go sarri #BOUCHE

I’m all for supporting the team, players and management through difficult times but starting to think Sarri has the same arrogance as past management and his lack of flexibility could rightfully earn him the sack #cfc

#cfc fans booing #Sarri‘s substitution of #Higuaín. #Giroud on instead. ‘You don’t know what you’re doing’, sing the Chelsea fans in the away end.

I fail to see how Sarri has coached this team in any way. If anything, our players have degreased and we’re even worse than we were last season. No pattern of play in defence or attack; no freedom either as we’re shackled by the excessive passing game.

Sorry Mr Sarri we’re 3-0 down and having 72% possession ain’t saving us.

Who’s Sarri going to blame after this defeat? Maybe the guy that picks the team and chooses the tactics? Probably a good place to start……

Bye bye Sarri. You’re a useless tinpot scruff.

Losing 3-0 to a team that’s been awful lately. Showing how bad a side we are tonight. Sarri needs to learn another tactic. And fast! #cfc
