Please don't sign him: 52% of Everton fans really hope Silva avoids contract rebel

Declan Rice has been making headlines of late due to his contract situation at West Ham United. Doubts have now arisen over the 19-year-old’s future at the London Stadium, which has led to reports that Everton could be interested. According to  The Gambling Times , the Merseyside outfit are one of a number of clubs keeping a close eye on the situation. The  Daily Mail  recently reported that Rice has been offered a new contract worth around £12,000 per week, but it has been declined by the youngster’s camp. The versatile player, who can also play in defence, is currently on a modest wage of £3,000 per week and is said to be demanding a significant increase. Rice has certainly shone in the holding role in his past three appearances for the club, of which they have gone unbeaten. Everton are not in desperate need of a defensive midfielder, but we asked you if the club should be taking an interest in the West Ham star. Judging by the response, plenty of Toffees fans would be happ

"Our best player", "Redemption" - These Everton fans are stunned by Koeman signing

Loads of Everton fans have been running the rule over their rampant win against Fulham, and they’re absolutely delighted with the display of Gylfi Sigurdsson. Everton have shown some real promise under Marco Silva, but until Saturday the Toffees had yet to put it all together when it matters most. That’s exactly what happened on Saturday though, as Sigurdsson’s brace fired Silva’s side to a 3-0 win over newly promoted Fulham. The Icelandic international has been struggling for end product in the opening part of the season, but made up for his second half missed penalty with two beautiful goals. His penalty cannoned off the cross bar with the score at 0-0, but he atoned for his mistake just a few moments later with a cultured finish into the bottom corner. Cenk Tosun grabbed his first goal of the season to make it 2-0, and Sigurdsson rounded off his display with the third after some lovely play from new signing Bernard. While Michael Keane, Idrissa Gueye and Richarlison were all

Unai Emery Praises Arsenal's Efficiency in Watford Win & Speaks on Aaron Ramsey Incident

dent Arsenal manager Unai Emery praised his side's patience in overcoming an "organised" Watford side that for large parts of the game frustrated their hosts.  An own goal by Watford centre-back Craig Cathcart gave the Gunners the lead before Mesut Ozil, notably quiet for most of the match, fired home from Alexandre Lacazette's cross. Arsenal went on to win the match 2-0, making it five straight wins in the Premier League. Javi Gracia Confident of Future Results for 'Deserving' Watford Players Despite Arsenal Defeat

Javi Gracia spoke of his frustration after his Watford side's spirited display in defeat at the Emirates on Saturday, as they fell 2-0 to Arsenal. Watford started the encounter in typically determined fashion with captain Troy Deeney and strike partner Andre Gray pressing from the front to great effect. Massimiliano Allegri Hails Ronaldo's 'Best Game' After Starring Role in Juventus' 2-0 Napoli Win

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri believes Cristiano Ronaldo had his best game so far for the Serie A giants after starring in their 3-1 victory over title rivals Napoli on Saturday. 'Bottled,' 'Frustrating' ... These Middlesbrough fans fume as the club suffers setback

Middlesbrough’s campaign for Premier League promotion is on course, but they suffered a blip on Saturday. Tony Pulis’s side have been in and around the top echelons of the Championship table for the past few weeks due to their results. In 10 matches, Boro have been on the losing side just once, but they squandered the opportunity to move to the top of the table on Saturday afternoon. Pulis took his team to the KCOM Stadium to take on a Hull City side that are lingering around the bottom three of the standings. Boro were favourites heading into the encounter despite being on away soil and they managed to go ahead thanks to a 51st-minute goal from Britt Assombalonga. Hull drew level, though, thanks to a penalty from Jarrod Bowen and the visitors were unable to regain their lead. After the final whistle, a handful of Boro fans took to Twitter to lambast the team for failing to move to the top. As it stands, the club are third in the table, one point adrift of leaders West Bromwich

Why Leo Messi was benched before Tottenham

Barcelona 1 – Athletic Bilbao 1 Are Barcelona in crisis? That seems rather strange to say considering Barcelona are top of the Spanish league after seven rounds of the season. However Barcelona are currently on a three-game winless run following a 1-1 draw at home against Athletic Bilbao on Saturday. Perfect for Klopp: 57% of Liverpool fans polled desperate to move for experienced Prem star

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has quality in every part of the pitch since his summer spending. The German coach bolstered the midfield with Fabinho and Naby Keita, while Xherdan Shaqiri joined from Stoke City to add an extra option in attack. Goalkeepers Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius both proved that they were not at the standard required for a title challenge, and as a result the Reds recruited Alisson from Roma. For the first time in a while, the Merseyside outfit have depth in their squad, particularly in midfield when everyone is fully fit. As well as the new arrivals, Liverpool have Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Georginio Wijnaldum, Adam Lallana and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. With that in mind, it may seem strange for Klopp to move for another midfielder at the end of the season, but there is a big name who could be available. According to  BBC Sport , Aaron Ramsey looks set to leave Arsenal after the club withdrew the offer of a new four-year contract. If the Wales in

"Should've taken the £40m" - These Tottenham fans are raging at Pochettino favourite

Loads of Tottenham fans have been reacting to their win at Huddersfield, and they’re absolutely fuming at the performance of Eric Dier. Mauricio Pochettino’s side continued their road back to winning ways on Saturday with a comfortable victory over Huddersfield, but fans aren’t happy with Dier. Harry Kane put the visitors in the lead when he glanced home a cross from Kieran Trippier, and the Tottenham talisman doubled his tally nine minutes later from the penalty spot. While the lead never really looked threatened, it wasn’t a vintage Tottenham display by any means, and Dier had a bit of a nightmare. The 24 year-old struggled in midfield in the first half, and it didn’t go any better for him when he moved back into defence after the break. He completed just 78 per cent of his passes, and fans are urging Pochettino to drop him. The Magpies had an absolutely brutal fixture list to open the season, but matches against Crystal Palace and Leicester were surely ones they should be taking some points from. Jamie Vardy gave the Foxes a first half lead from the penalty spot though, and Harry Maguire doubled the lead after the break. Not many Newcastle players will be happy with their performance, but Perez in particular had an afternoon to forget. The 25 year-old was superb in the second half of last season, scoring eight times and grabbing five assists, but fans are fuming at his performances so far this season. 'Announce the title' ... These West Brom fans buzzing after club take huge step

After suffering relegation from the Premier League last season, West Bromwich Albion faced a difficult task trying to return to the top flight. Darren Moore was given the role as head coach on a permanent basis, and some fans were not entirely happy with the decision. Ten games into the league season and a few supporters may now be changing their minds as the Baggies sit at the top of the table. Since losing 1-0 to Middlesbrough on August 24, West Brom have not lost a Championship match. In midweek, the club were knocked out of the EFL Cup by Crystal Palace in the third round, but they bounced back on Saturday by overcoming Preston 3-2. Jay Rodriguez opened the scoring for the Baggies before Andrew Hughes found an equaliser in the 71st minute. An own goal from Ben Davies gave the away side the lead again and Dwight Gayle added a third. Alan Browne pulled another back for Preston, but it was too late to inspire a second comeback. On Twitter, West Brom fans were understandably de

Perfect for Pochettino: 48% of Spurs fans polled want to sign former Chelsea youngster

Tottenham were nearly stunned by Watford in the Carabao Cup last week, and fans were mightily impressed by former Chelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah. Tottenham scraped past Watford on penalties last week, and there’s no question who Watford’s standout player was. Chalobah joined the Hornets from Chelsea last summer but missed nearly all of last season with a knee injury. The 23 year-old has never really gotten a fair crack at a Premier League club due to Chelsea’s infamous loan system, but he showed his class on Wednesday. It was clear the 6 ft 2 in youngster was not fully match fit, but his quality on the ball is far superior to the likes of Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama, and this combination of physicality and technical skill would make him a useful asset to have. Mauricio Pochettino has a habit of turning young English players into superstars, but fans are split on making a 2019 move for the 23 year-old. You can view the full poll results down below, where 48 per cent are

Better than Kent? 85% of Rangers fans polled want Gerrard to sign another Liverpool wonderkid

Rangers fans have been discussing making a move for Derby County sensation Harry Wilson, and a whopping 85 per cent of fans want Steven Gerrard to work his magic to bring the 21 year-old to Ibrox. Wilson stunned Manchester United last week with a man of the match performance at Old Trafford, helping to lift Derby into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup. The young Welsh international is at Pride Park on a season-long loan from Liverpool, but it’s hard to see him challenging for serious playing time when he returns to Anfield. Despite his brilliant loan spells with Hull City and now Derby, the 22 year-old will have to perform better than Xherdan Shaqiri just to get a spot on Liverpool’s bench, and Gerrard could take advantage. The Rangers boss has already captured two Liverpool youngsters on loan in Ovie Ejaria and Ryan Kent, and the prospect of playing European football under perhaps the greatest Liverpool player of all time will certainly appeal to Wilson. The versatile Welshman

"Class", "Hope this happens" - These Newcastle fans are loving promising Ashley update

Loads of Newcastle fans have been reacting to a promising report, as the Mike Ashley nightmare may finally be coming to an end. According to Sky Sports , American firm Rockefeller Capital Management are in preliminary talks over a takeover. The report says the firm are working with former Manchester United & Chelsea CEO Peter Kenyon, and that Kenyon has held discussions with Ashley. The Magpies are toiling away in the relegation zone after yet another defeat on Saturday, and fans are desperate for new owners. Ashley did extremely well to bring Rafael Benitez to the club, but has completely refused to back the Spaniard since his arrival, practically forcing the manager to deploy painstakingly defensive tactics. The Tyneside club haven’t won a major trophy since 1955, and they certainly aren’t going to with Ashley at the helm. Lots of fans are freaking out about the news, while others are struggling to believe it. Either way, you can find some of the best Twitter reactions do

"I am in love", "What a signing" - These West Ham fans think Husillos has pulled a master stroke

Loads of West Ham fans have been running the rule over Saturday’s momentous win, and they’re absolutely loving summer signing Issa Diop. While the Hammers made loads of impressive attacking signings this summer, most fans would agree that their biggest problem since moving to the London Stadium has been their defence. Manuel Pellegrini and director of football Mario Husillos look to have pulled a master stroke in that department as well though, as Diop and Fabian Balbuena are looking better every week. Diop had a shaky start to life as a Hammer, making a vital mistake during the defeat at Arsenal, but his performance against Manchester United on Saturday was a sight to behold. The young Frenchman made two tackles, two interceptions, five clearances and vital block, prompting Jose Mourinho to congratulate the scout who found him . The 21 year-old has been absolutely immense over the last few games as the Hammers have picked up seven points out of a possible nine, and fans are hea

'It's over' ... These Man United fans want drastic response to humiliating defeat

Jose Mourinho has not had the easiest time at Manchester United since the new season began. The Portuguese coach has overseen just three wins in seven Premier League matches. The most recent result was a disappointing one for the Red Devils as they were beaten 3-1 by West Ham United at the London Stadium in the early kickoff on Saturday. Felipe Anderson gave the hosts the lead before Andriy Yarmolenko’s strike was sent into the back of the net inadvertently by United defender Victor Lindelof. In the second half, Marcus Rashford managed to pull a goal back, but it was not enough to inspire a comeback for the Red Devils. Marko Arnautovic killed any hope of a revival when he nabbed West Ham’s third of the day. Many United fans were baffled by Mourinho’s decision to field a back three, which consisted of Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof and Scott McTominay, who generally plays as a central midfielder. For some fans, the result was too much and many demanded that Mourinho be booted o

Never needed him: 62% of Middlesbrough fans not worried about losing transfer target

Middlesbrough’s main aim this season is to push for Premier League promotion. Tony Pulis lost a handful of key players in the summer, including Patrick Bamford and Adama Traore. The club recruited a number of new faces, but there is one free agent who they have been unable to lure to the Riverside Stadium. According to a report from  TEAMtalk  in early September, Boro were battling Aston Villa for the signature of Bakary Sako. The attacking player is available on a free transfer after being released by Crystal Palace at the end of last season. The story has now changed and it is believed that Sako could be on the verge of joining Boro’s Championship rivals West Bromwich Albion. The  Express & Star  reports that the Baggies have been in talks with the 30-year-old’s agents regarding a deal. Over the last few weeks, the former Wolverhampton Wanderers player has been training with West Brom, and even though Sako remains a free agent, it appears that Boro have missed out. We ask

"Very worried about Wednesday" - Loads of Spurs fans react as fan favourite suffers setback

Tottenham fans are fearing the worst for this week’s clash against Barcelona, after Jan Vertonghen became the latest star to join the growing injury list. Spurs continued their comeback from that disappointing three-game slump on Saturday as they picked up a comfortable 2-0 win at Huddersfield. The North Londoners were completely in control against Brighton last weekend and the game followed a similar pattern at Huddersfield, as Harry Kane’s early double was enough to grab all three points. The Englishman nodded home from a wonderful Kieran Trippier cross after just 25 minutes, and he doubled the lead nine minutes later from the penalty spot. Vertonghen was withdrawn at half time as he struggled with a suspected hamstring problem though, and Pochettino’s squad is practically down to barebones already. Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Hugo Lloris all missed the trip to the John Smith’s Stadium, and the prospect of facing Barcelona without four first team players is very worrying

Really? 55% of Rangers fans polled want Gerrard signing benched for surprise sensation

Rangers fans have been debating their attacking options ahead of the clash with Livingston, and the slight majority of fans want surprise sensation Glenn Middleton to keep his place on the left wing. Steven Gerrard and Rangers did an excellent job of revamping the squad this summer, bringing in mostly young and hungry players looking to make a name for themselves. One of the most impressive summer signings has been Liverpool loanee Ryan Kent, but fans are split on whether the winger should start on Sunday. The Liverpool youngster has been electric in the last few games, but the Gers’ excellent summer business means they now have multiple options in nearly every position. Middleton, who was signed by Graeme Murty back in January, scored twice against Ayr last week, and has been sensational every time he has come off the bench this season. 55 per cent of fans want the 18 year-old to start over Kent after his brace in mid-week, and you can find the full poll results down below…

Pellegrini's signing will never get back into West Ham's XI - agree?

When Jack Wilshere joined West Ham United in the summer, it gave the midfielder an opportunity to revive his career. The 26-year-old dropped down the rankings at Arsenal due to injuries and fitness issues.
