'He's finished', 'I'm crying' - Loads of Spurs fans devastated by crucial update
Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left horrified by an official club update, confirming that midfielder Harry Winks has undergone groin surgery.
Winks has emerged as a crucial player under Mauricio Pochettino in recent seasons and has made 40 appearances in all competitions this season.
He has been sidelined since the 1-0 Champions League quarter-final first leg win over Manchester City though.
Winks has subsequently missed Premier League encounters with Huddersfield Town, City, Brighton & Hove Albion and West Ham United, as well as the second leg against Pep Guardiola’s men.
It has now been confirmed that he has gone under the knife and he will surely miss both legs of the European semi-final against Ajax, and is also likely to be absent from the Premier League encounters with AFC Bournemouth and Everton.
And Spurs fans have been left devastated by the news, with Winks rapidly becoming a fan favourite in north London.
Take a look at the best of the reaction below!
See you next season Winksy lad.
In the transfer window in the summer can we buy some luck with injuries? Thanks.

Such a shame about Harry Winks. He is so vital for us. So much for a 'minor problem'. Spurs medical team is a joke.

Winks is becoming a bit of a sick note unfortunately
