Huge boost for Aston Villa fans ahead of Hull clash
Aston Villa’s players will be itching to get back onto the pitch following the international break as they try to respond positively to recent setbacks.
The Midlands outfit were in touching distance of the automatic promotion spots in the Championship, but recent back-to-back defeats have left the club eight points adrift in fourth place.
Later today, Steve Bruce’s will take on Hull City at the KCOM Stadium, where they last played in 2015 and suffered a 2-0 loss.
On Friday, the manager provided an update on his injured players, and it is good news for some of them, with Axel Tuanzebe, Neil Taylor and Alan Hutton all expected to be available for selection.
Glenn Whelan is the only one out of the group that is expected to miss out on the fixture.
🗣 Steve Bruce: "I don't think I have an injured player at this club at the moment. Taylor has trained all week. Tuanzebe is fit. Hutton is fit. The only one this game might have come too soon for is Glenn Whelan."

Jonathan Kodjia has also provided a major boost as he has returned to fitness and will be in the squad against Hull, much to the delight of the supporters.
Villa were restricted to a 1-1 draw by Hull at Villa Park earlier in the season.
