On March 21, Dybala confirmed that he’d contracted the pathogen, along with his girlfriend Oriana Sabatini. The 26-year-old wrote:
Hello everyone, I wanted to inform you that we have just received the results of the Covid-19 test and both Oriana and I tested positive.
Luckily we are in perfect condition. Thank you for your messages and a greeting to all.
Note: Juventus haven’t confirmed that Dybala is still positive
On Thursday, Italian paper Tuttosport have dug a little deeper into Dybala’s ongoing issues with Covid-19.
One issue flagged up in the paper is that Juventus haven’t officially confirmed that Dybala is still testing positive.
However, Tuttosport also note that Juve’s approach recently has only been to confirm when players who had been positive turned negative.
Accordingly, while Juventus have confirmed that Daniele Rugani and Blaise Matuidi have recovered, they’ve remained silent on Dybala’s progress.

Juventus aren’t worried about Dybala
While Dybala isn’t out of the woods regarding his Covid-19 tests, Tuttosport report that Juventus aren’t worried about the health of their forward.
Readers are told that Dybala “is fine and has no more problems”.
Tuttosport confirm that Dybala isn’t suffering from any breathing issues, noting that the footballer’s biggest problem right now is that his time in quarantine has been extended.
Dybala on his Covid-19 problems
While Tuttosport report that Dybala is on the mend, the striker has previously discussed how Covid-19 impacted his health:
I had stronger symptoms, I got tired very quickly, when I wanted to train, I was short of breath after five minutes. Then we noticed that something was not right and through the tests the club did we were told that we were positive.
From there we had more symptoms, such as cough, tired body and when we slept I felt very cold, but from the club they had told us that we were going to be fine so we had to be calm.
La Liga fixtures expected to be forced behind closed doors until 2021.
