Loads of Rangers fans have been reacting to some huge transfer news, as Jake Hastie has reportedly agreed terms to join the club this summer.

Motherwell’s Hastie will be out of contract at the end of the current campaign, and Football Insider claim the Gers have won the race for his signature.

The 20 year-old has been in fantastic form at Fir Park this season, enjoying a breakout year with ten goals and seven assists in all competitions.

And according to the report, he will be plying his trade at Ibrox next season, after agreeing a four-year deal worth £15,000-a-week including bonuses.

£15,000-a-week is an awful lot for a young player with just one phenomenal season under his belt, but the Gers will be getting a versatile attacker with speed, power and a rocket of a left foot.

And yet, many fans are disappointed by the news, perhaps due to the wages or possibly because of the fact the Gers already have loads of left-wingers, so the move does feel a bit unnecessary.
