Sean Longstaff may be one of Newcastle’s own, but that doesn’t mean he’s immune from getting criticism for his performances like the rest of his teammates. The 21-year-old enjoyed somewhat of a break-through campaign last season for his hometown club, making nine Premier League appearances and scoring once. It was a busy summer for Arsenal in the transfer window. No less than six new faces joined the Gunners. But, whilst five of them are still with the club and will play this season in England, one will spend it away from the Emirates Stadium. The Scottish Premiership table is beginning to look quite interesting. After seven games of the campaign, Celtic are top of the table, as you would expect. It really has not been a good start to the season for Everton so far. The Toffees were busy in the summer transfer window, spending over £100m on new recruits, with Moise Kean and Fabian Delph amongst those to join. It was a pretty horrific showing from Newcastle United against Leicester City. The north-east outfit lost 5-0 to the Foxes, with the goals coming from Jamie Vardy – twice – Ricardo Pereira, Wilfried Ndidi and an own goal from Paul Dummett. Crystal Palace are moving along nicely under Roy Hodgson at the moment. Chelsea fans want justice for Christian Pulisic after another game passed without him playing a single minute. The Blues beat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-0 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday as Frank Lampard recorded his first home league win as manager.
